This semester went by very quickly, and I truly enjoyed the time we spent together. I learned the importance of exploring learning opportunities outside the usual classroom setting, such as our experiences in the garden. I had never experienced anything quite like this before, where a group of us, having only met a few months ago, could come together to share fascinating stories, knowledge, and connections. The garden provided a unique opportunity for us to bond in a meaningful way.
I also appreciated the microteaching projects, as they offered hands-on teaching experience that I know will be valuable in the future. My main takeaway is to cultivate curiosity in all topics, as inspiration can always be found to help expand my understanding. Another key takeaway is the importance of becoming a better listener and learner, as these are essential skills for a teacher.
